- Reviewing national communications and biennial update reports
- Developing MRV methodologies for mitigation and M&E methodologies for adaptation
- Supporting countries in developing and implementing mitigation efforts under their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs)
- Planning and carrying out nationally appropriate mitigation actions (NAMAs)
- Providing climate finance advice and MRV services for the implementation of low emission roadmaps
- Developing climate financing proposals for the International Climate Initiative of the German Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV), the NAMA Facility, the Global Environmental Facility (GEF) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF)
