Recruiter (m/f/d) – Expert Recruiting for International Climate Cooperation

Finding the right experts – and keeping them close to us over the long term – is one of the decisive factors in winning tenders and delivering our projects well.

Königstein im Taunus, near Frankfurt Full-time or part-time Start: asap, no later than 1 Oct 2026

You can expect

  • The full expert recruiting process for our international tenders and projects: search and active sourcing, screening and shortlisting, first interviews, and coordination with our technical business areas
  • Being the direct link between HEAT and the experts we put forward – from first contact through to contracting support
  • Building and maintaining your own network of international consultants, with regular contact to experts on our ongoing projects
  • Expanding our expert database and preparing donor-compliant CVs for GIZ, the EU, UNDP, the development banks and other clients
  • Supporting the unit's wider acquisition work, using our in-house tools and AI-driven ways of working
  • Close collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, economists and climate policy specialists

Your qualifications

  • University degree in HR, business administration or a relevant field, or a completed commercial apprenticeship combined with relevant experience
  • At least 2–3 years in a service- or client-oriented environment; career changers with transferable experience are expressly welcome
  • Confident sourcing via LinkedIn and XING, plus strong communication and networking skills
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Confident with MS Office; experience with databases and an accurate, structured way of working
  • Enjoyment of digital tools and AI-assisted applications – prior experience welcome, not required
  • International recruitment or development cooperation experience is a clear advantage, as is proposal-preparation knowledge or French or Spanish
