Stefanie von Heinemann is a senior consultant and project manager at HEAT and has 14 years of experience as a team leader and expert of international climate change mitigation development cooperation projects. Since 2009 she has been advising and cooperating with government, industry associations, and international institutions on GHG emissions reductions through the implementation of HCFC Phase Out Management Plans (key focus Latin America, including Brazil) in the framework of the Montreal Protocol.
She is an expert in technology transfer, end-of life management (WEEE) and implementing technical assistance and capacity building projects for best practices and the safe and efficient introduction of low GWP refrigerants in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector. She has over ten years of experience in advising ministries on international policies under the Montreal Protocol and its Kigali Amendment, including recommendations regarding HFC phase-down policies in line with the EU F-Gas Regulation (EU) No 517/2014.
At HEAT and at the projects she collaborates, she brings in her ability to adapt to multicultural environments and excellent communication skills to create a warm working atmosphere based on trust and mutual support.
