Based in New Delhi, Neeta Sharma is HEAT's senior project manager for projects funded under the Multilateral Fund of the Montreal Protocol. With HEAT since 1999, Neeta has spearheaded dozens of projects in Africa and Asia, focusing on ODS phase-out and promoting non-ODS, low-emission technologies in the refrigeration and air conditioning sectors.
Her extensive experience in regulatory development, collaborating with national authorities to establish standards, MRV schemes, and training programs for sustainable practices, especially in the heating, cooling, and buildings-related sectors, is a vital asset to our team. Key contributions include developing sectoral GHG mitigation plans under the UNFCCC and implementing energy efficiency measures across various countries.
Always full of energy and 100% committed to project objectives, Neeta has also led gender-inclusive initiatives and policy development in e-mobility and rural energy assessment projects, demonstrating a commitment to comprehensive climate solutions.
