Manuel Prieto is our data analyst working on the calculation of ODS/HFC banks and RAC equipment inventories for various countries to develop national refrigeration plans and energy efficiency policies. He contributes to the development of Kigali Implementation Plans (KIPs) for end-of-life management of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Leading our internal task force on data and IT tools, he is the person our team members turn to when it comes to analysing data, learning new tools and identifying opportunities related to data analysis and visualisation.
Prior to joining HEAT, Manuel was a research assistant at Forschungszentrum Jülich. His unique blend of technical expertise, academic excellence, and international experience makes him an ideal candidate for projects that require a deep understanding of environmental science and data analysis. Manuel holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Colombia and a Master of Science from the University of Cologne.
