On Sunday, 18 May 2025, our “HEAT & Family” team lined up for the Königstein Charity Run for the third year in a row. Colleagues and family members tackled the 5 km course together, circling Königstein Castle twice and passing our headquarters, the “Schweizerhaus”, while conquering the Taunus region’s trademark steep climbs.
What makes this run special is its hybrid format: participants can also join remotely. This weekend, “Heaties” laced up their running shoes in Wiesbaden, Madrid, Bogotá—and even on the Pacific island of Rarotonga (Cook Islands)—running simultaneously with the on-site event.
The next generation gave it their all as well: our youngest team members, born in 2017 and 2018, enthusiastically took part in the Kids’ Run.
The charity run is organised on a voluntary basis by the Lions Club Königstein. This year, the proceeds will benefit the Medical Child Protection Unit at Frankfurt University Hospital and the FeM Girls’ Shelter.
“We’re delighted to support this fantastic event right on our doorstep—and, at the same time, turn it into a team-building experience for Heaties worldwide,” said Managing Director Dietram Oppelt.
