This case study has been prepared in the framework of the Brazilian HCFC Phase-Out Management Plan (HPMP) and presents the results of the second demonstration project for better HCFC-22 containment carried out in cooperation with the Brazilian supermarket Hortifruti do Campo Apinajés in São Paulo. The interventions lead to energy savings and lower demand for HCFCs and the publication aims at making the methodology applied available to other supermarkets to enhance replication.
