HEAT GmbH is a member of the Cool Coalition, a global initiative dedicated to promoting sustainable cooling solutions. This strategic alliance underscores HEAT’s commitment to advancing climate action and aligns with our mission to achieve net zero emissions.
The Cool Coalition, comprising over 120 partners from governments, cities, international organizations, businesses, and civil society, aims to enhance access to sustainable cooling technologies. By focusing on energy efficiency and the transition to clean energy, the coalition seeks to mitigate climate change and support the achievement of sustainable development goals.
HEAT proudly endorses the Global Cooling Pledge, an initiative designed to accelerate the deployment of sustainable cooling solutions worldwide, which was announced at COP28 in Dubai. The pledge calls for immediate action to enhance energy efficiency, phase down hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), and promote the adoption of natural refrigerants.
HEAT GmbH is now actively involved in the Cool Coalition’s working group focused on integrating the cooling sector into Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). This involvement highlights our commitment to embedding sustainable cooling solutions into national climate strategies, ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving global climate goals.
