News

06/01/2017 | HEAT to start new project on F-gases in Turkey

Together with the Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU – Contracting Authority) and the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanization (MoEU – Beneficiary) the consortium will enable the Turkish decision makers and industry stakeholders to prepare for the upcoming changes in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector due to the EU F-gas Regulation No 517/2014. For the purposes of harmonization with the EU acquis, Turkey already took measures to implement EU Regulation No 842/2006. By updating to concur with the EU Regulation No 517/2014 Turkey aims at reducing anthropogenic GHG emissions and contribute to the global mitigation efforts.
